MAISON V
A private members club
A house built around wine, sake, travel and culture — and the people who gather for them.
The Concept
A club inspired by the world of wine
Maison V began with three friends, twenty years of shared bottles, and a simple conviction: that wine and sake are at their best when they bring people together — around tables, in cellars and breweries, and across the places they come from.
The club is being shaped around that conviction. Members can expect a world of considered travel, tastings and gatherings, and inside access to the producers, places and people our founders have spent decades getting to know — in France, in Japan, and in the wine regions they call home.
Maison means home, and V stands for vin, vino, vinho, viini — the many ways we say wine across cultures. It is also the letter of voyage.
Maison V is currently in formation. This page will grow as the club does.
The Founders
Three friends. One house.
Lachlin Miller
Founder
An Australian native, Lachlin spent 15 years in capital markets in Hong Kong alongside a sustained love of wine — collecting it, learning about it, and gaining his WSET Level 3 qualification. A move to the USA and an Executive MBA followed, and with them the idea of bringing his experience, his cellar and the momentum he saw in wine, travel and private members clubs together in one hospitality venture. His first call was to Tracey.
Tracey Delaney
Founder
A New York native with a deep love of Japan from an early age, Tracey built a 20+ year career in management consulting and at American Express across Tokyo, New York and London. Along the way she trained as a sake sommelier and sake scholar and co-founded The Sparkling Sake Brewery in the UK. With her passion for wine, sake and hospitality — and leadership experience at a brand with one of the world's most established travel and membership models — she joined Lachlin to create Maison V.
Chris Tanghe
Founder
A New England native who started in hospitality at 13 and trained at the Culinary Institute of America, Chris rose through restaurants across the US to the pinnacle of his profession — Master Sommelier, in May 2013, one of only 274 worldwide. Named Food & Wine's Sommelier of the Year, he went on to lead education at GuildSomm and most recently launched Upwell Wine and Coffee and Walter's Wine in Seattle.
